Great Sermon! An excellent and timely reminder of God's gracious and sure provision to His children, especially to those like my wife and I whom He has saved from the darkness of Rome. As we witness the preaching of vague and unbiblical mishmash in many of the western churches, which profits none of their hearers, this message and mini-series serves as a balm to the soul. May the Lord use this word to His glory and the saving of souls out of Satan's grip.
Living by faith in the promise of God. Eve experienced the horrors of sin. But Eve also expressed the Gospel hope. She was saved by faith in the promise of God. Her very name expresses her faith and Adam's faith in the promise of God.
Great reward. I was encouraged by this message to continue to live with God and to serve, because Gos will give us the fruit of our works. Christians are persistent in doing good works, they have a living faith, they are seeking eternal life, and God is giving it to them.
Authority only in the revelation of God. A call to follow the old paths of revealed truth, not to listen to new teachings and new revelations. We have to go back to the authority of the Scriptures.
He will equip us. Great encouragement for God's children: God will equip us for Christian life and service. If God calls us, He will equip us, strengthen us.
Great merit of Christ. Pentecost is the harvest of Calvary. Christ achieved with His blood what the Spirit did on the day of Pentecost and what He will do in the next Centuries.
Great grace of God. Matthew 1:1-17 demonstrates that Jesus was a real man. Matthew 1:18-25 demonstrates that He was not a mere man, but God. God came down to assume real humanity for saving real sinners.
Great judgment. The righteous judgment of God will reflect the character of the Judge. Will reveal the real state of all those who come before His judgment seat. Will ask the execution of the sentence established in the law and in the Gospel.
Privileges of being born in Zion. A message especially for young people, for teenagers. The privileges a person has to be born in a Christian community. But all these privileges do not save a man, but he must be born again. Powerful message.
Great Study this is a good introduction for the benifit of the saints. Although i do not hold to a pre-millianal standpoint Dr Cairns brings ut some good points for obsersvation
Power for happiness. I was taught a lesson: there is no happiness without experiencing the power of God in your life. Power for salvation, for deliverance from sin, for testimony, power in the life of the church. I realize this is what I longed for as a Christian, but I never was so conscious about this as now.
Great Sermon! ANOTHER PROBLEM IN THE CHURCH REGARDING THESE MATTERS COME FROM THOSE WHO WANT TO COVER FOR THOSE EVANGELICALS THAT OPENLY AND SHAMELESSLY FELLOWSHIP WITH THE CHURCH OF ROME AND APOSTATE PROTESTANTISM, INSTEAD OF CALLING COLSON, GRAHAM, PACKER, ETC., TO REPENTANCE AND SEPERATING FROM THEM UNTIL THEY DO REPENT.
Great condamnation! There is no excuse, no apology in the tribunal of God for guilty sinners, Gentiles or Jews. All are culpable. Only in Christ is salvation.
Lesson in suffering. A message about suffering. Sufferings are but for a time; sufferings have a scope - they work for our good; sufferings will not separate us from Christ and glory.
Great calling. God called us; God called us in Christ; God called us to His glory (to the presence of His glory; to the pleasures of His glory; to participate into His glory; to proclaim eternally His glory).
