Great light of the Gospel. Salvation is not in good deeds, in the our merits or in the merits of the saints. Salvation is in Christ, in His merits. The doctrine of justification by faith preached by Luther in a world blinded by the theology of indulgences and human merits.
Church and state. Realistic and balanced view about the relation between Church and state and about the involvement in the world. The Gospel is the only power to change the world and the preaching of the Gospel must have political and social implications.
Christian speech. Concern for sound speech; content of the sound speech; courageous conviction. If we will gather God's Word in our heart and we will be taught by Him, this will be seen in our speech - we will speak God's Word. From the fullness of the heart speaks the mouth.
Great Sermon! this is exactly what i needed to hear, God give me a double portion to press on and through to a life of victory with you and for you; in Jesus Name
Following the commandements. The definition of living clean in an unclean world; the danger of living in an unclean world; the defense against going astray. Excellent sermon.
Great study. A presentation of the spiritual condition of Geneva at the beginning of the 18th Century, the influence of Rationalism, Unitarianism, romanticism and fanaticism. A presentation of the revival. The ways in which this second Reformation reaffirmed the Reformation of the 16th Century: it reaffirmed the doctrine of justification by faith, the sole authority of Scripture and the doctrine of assurance. Excellent study.
Great Sermon! After hearing this message I thank Our Lord for you one concern that made a lot os sence to me and I am ask if you can explain the statement more because it touch me and made a lot of sence.(Colossians 1:25 where you said the world need to hear preaching not sermons I agree and ask ifyou can explain the different again thank you for this message.
Excellent. So great salvation, because of the plan of salvation, the Person who accomplished it, the price paid, the power of forgiveness, the permanence of salvation; a foolish neglect; and a tragic destiny.
Great Sermon! This preach it's abolutly touchfull, I think that the way to speak about God's mercy it's clear and that's something need for all those ho are fighting the real battle to return quicly to the ways of God, and have the richt food, the right hope and the right and unique Savior of all us LORD CHRIST
Prayer life. Hezekiah prays to the Lord in 2 discouraging circumstances and God hears him and answers him. After that he is not praying in another circumstance and he fails. We need a constant prayer life with God.
Great Sermon! Dear Pastor, Thank you for your wonderful message. I am a missionary in Nigeria and we have been praying for revival for many years. I say 'amen' to all that you said. The no one enemy of true revival is the evil spirit of religion; people go to church, preach, teach, pray, sing, give etc but no true salvation. We have been in warfare for years and is now that we see the first drops of hope for revival. In your country you say that revival is in the past. Here in Nigeria it has never happened since Adam. Rejoice with me for the hope of God's Spirit poured out over Nigeria. All glory goes to God, Amen!
In Christ alone, Lia Leigh.
A model church. Reaffirming the vision for the church in Greenville. The church in Antioch as a miracle church, a model church, a missionary church and a mother church. Excellent message. We must imitate this model found in the NT!
