Great Sermon! A Sermon that did my heart good Rev Mercer. I agree a person can live under conviction for life. Sadly not be converted, may God bless you!
trouble trouble and doom can be the exercise of G-d`s judgement on a land whose pastors have forsaken truth for earthly position and have not kept to the charge of watchman. This is soo obvious in Northern Ireland.I truly believe G-d answers prayer from people that love the truth and no revival will ever come to Ulster until the sin in the camp is reproved and removed no matter the self importance of the individual/s concerned
Our hiding place. God is the hiding place of His people. His glory is linked with His people. His glory is manifested in the preserving of His people, in working wonderous things among them and in them.
Priority of praise. The priority of praising the Lord for His covenant with us, for His redemption, for His great works in creation and salvation. I like the teaching in this message about singing in the church and musical instruments.
Father's responsibility. Blessed message about hearing, hiding and handing on. Communicating our heritage to our children not only by words, but by example also. This is the responsability of the fathers. When they are doing this, they must think not only to their children, but to the children of their children and the next generations.
Great Sermon! So true...prayer is the key to revival and blessing.
I'd encourage everyone also to read what men of God like George Muller, D. L. Moody, Torrey and Andrew Murray said on prayer. You can find a great collection of their thoughts on prayer here:

Living well, dying well. Immitating Jesus in His prayer. We must commend out spirit to the Lord in the hour of death. But this idea was true: if we want to die well, we must to live well. If we want to die with God, we must live with God.
Great grace. This thought was great and glorious: the angels in the presence of God cover their faces and say: "Holy, Holy, Holy", and we, His children, can say: "Our Father"! What a grace!
Great encouragement. This is my liberation: to know that the ministry is not mine, but Christ's, that the burden is not on my shoulders alone. But that it is His Church and He will build it, and that I am His servant whom He uses to work through.
The presence of God. Seeking God with sincerity is the pathway to a successful Christian life. Practising the presence of God gives us the power to go on and to escape the danger of mechanical and empty profession.
Salvation in Christ. All our salvation is in Christ. God is calling people unto salvation in Christ and we must respond. Sadly, it is not the entire sermon here.
