The Everlasting God
Dr. Alan Cairns

“ Unchanging God. ”
Certainty of God's plan and election based on the essential attribute of God's eternity. God is everlasting, He changes not, so His plans are not changing. This is our great comfort.

Almost, But Lost
Dr. Alan Cairns

“ Great warning. ”
Serious warning. The people tasted the gifts of Canaan, saw the land, heard the promise of God, stood at the border of Canaan, but were lost because of unbelief. A warning for those who have the light of the gospel, who tasted the gifts of heaven, but who are not coming to Christ.

Total Depravity

“ Great Sermon! ”
I always enjoy the preaching of Dr. Cairns. This one is particularly wonderful for me because I was recently explaining to someone that these New Testament Scriptures were written to regenerated creatures; that we are to keep these truths ever before us, which keeps us ever before the Cross. I agree with Brother Scott, this clear explanation is a Must Hear.

“ Great man of God. ”
I listened for the first time to a first-person presentation by Dr. Panosian. I never heard something like this! I was moved to tears. And I cried to God to make my life to count also. I am sad that it is not the entire message here.

Total Depravity
Dr. Alan Cairns

“ Explained clearly ”
A perennial sermon that explains the Reformed doctrine of "total depravity" with clarity, and shows how this essential doctrine leads to the good news of the gospel that Christ saves sinners. The doctrine of total depravity is what make Christianity distinct from other world religions. Without it, there is little difference. If you are uncertain about this doctrine, this sermon is a must-hear.

“ Proving God. ”
First step in spiritual warfare is proving God with your life. Gideon asked God to fill him with heavenly water in a dry world; and he asked God to keep him untouched from the world.

The Everlasting Light
Dr. Alan Cairns

comment
“ God our light. ”
God is the light of His people. The light of illumination, of reconciliation, of holiness, of happiness, of victory. Our joy now depends on how much we understand about what we are and have in Christ.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Today, I listened to this sermon twice, and found great comfort in Dr. Cairns presentation of the book of Revelation. The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is the hope of the believer. That hope was a great comfort for Christians in the first century, and it is our comfort in these days of great turmoil. Listen and be comforted with the Words of the Lord. Thank you, Dr. Cairns.

“ Enough revelation for judging sinners. ”
Clear explanation of the text: God will judge people according the light they received - the written Law or the law written in their heart. God gave to men enough revelation to make then inexcusable. And and God will judge according to the standard of His perfect Law - God is demanding perfect submission, perfect righteousness, not the righteousness that man can achieve in his natural power. Only in Christ is salvation.

“ Ruin and redemption. ”
Old time religion speaks about us and our fallen condition, about our sin and ruin; but also about God's salvation, true Gospel salvation, God centered salvation.

“ Divorce. ”
A message on verses 10-16. Paul brings new revelation on the subject of divorce, because of the mixed marriages, introducing the subject of divorce in case of abandonment. Argumentation on the basis of the Westminster Confession of Faith. Good explanation of what the "sanctifying" of unbelieving partner means.

“ Great study. ”
Very good presentation of different view on verse 7: the Catholic view, the Arminian view, the new perspective on Paul view, Hodge-Haldane view, and the Calvin-Cairns view. Clear explanation of the relationship of judgment according to works and justification by faith alone.

“ Great Sermon! ”
This is such a comforting message for the Believer, and a call to be ready to the unbeliever. Pastor Roberts has such a lovely way of bringing one into the presence of the Lord, through his use of Scripture and illustrations. Thank you, Pastor Roberts. I am blessed and privileged to listen to your teaching. God is so good to encourage His people through the gifts of teaching and preaching that He has given, and through the means of the Sermonaudio site. I only wish that I had found this site earlier.

Considering Islam Biblically
Dr. Edward Panosian

“ Excellent teaching on Islam! ”
Dr. Panosian gives a historical perspective of when and how Islam originated, a sweeping perspective of the Koran, and concludes showing the differences in Christianity and Islam. As Christians, we should know these differences, so that we may counter the lies of Islam when sharing our faith, and when teaching others. Thank you, Dr. Panosian for this excellent presentation.

“ Great liberation. ”
Most liberation message I heard for many years. I will not meet my sins at the judgment. And Gos will judge not every act of mine, but the developed character the grace worked in me. God will reward my passion for eternity. It was a great, great blessing for me. God made me happy, very happy! Thank you.

“ God's view of sinners. ”
Very sobering, challenging message. God's view of sinners described and their eternal destiny depicted. A message that leaves you with no excuse.
