“ God's idea. ” Great, useful, lessons for our marriages. We need this instruction in a day when Satan is attacking the marriage. We must follow God's design and honor Him in our marriages, as He intended from beginning.

“ Great care! ” Christ called us not to live in isolated Christan communities, but a life characterized by evangelism. We must not destroy our testimony by bringing before the world all the problems that appear between the brothers.
“ What His resurrection means? ” Christ and death. Christ the destroyer of death. So He can free dying sinners from death. Christ brings to His disciples comfort, forgiveness, power to stand and to serve, confirmation and a commission.
“ God glories in His people. ” God glories in the salvation of His people, in the godliness of His people, in the revival of His people and in the glorification of His people.
“ Explaining salvation. ” There is only one message of salvation; this salvation is by grace; this grace is only in Jesus Christ; Christ is received by faith.
“ Keeping the church pure. ” Second motive for discipline in the church: for keeping the church pure. Otherwise sin will infect all the church. Supreme motive for discipline in the church: Christ died to purify the church; so how to embrace or tolerate sin?
“ Christ, righteousness and Captain. ” The cave, the company of men, the captain. Christ as our righteousness and Captain. The nature of Christ's people.
“ Good explanation. ” Discussion of church discipline, from verses 3-5. Public discipline, as different case than that in Matthew 18:15-20. Delivering unto Satan as excommunication for the destroying of sinful desires, not as delivering unto death.
“ What a serious matter! ” The mentality and acts of profane persons exposed; the perdition of profane persons; the peril of profane persons remaining undetected.
“ An Intelligent Sermon ” Excellent sermon. What we need today is to expound scripture according to the fundamentals of the faith so that The Faith maybe sustained in the minds of the hearers. So much is spoken on scripture but very little attached to the doctrine of the Church. By the way when it comes to the Image of the Beast this is put in contrast to the Image of God. Who is the Image of the Beast is it not The Pope? the beast being the Devil, one of the names of the Devil.
“ Great encouragement. ” The idea of a clean walk; the idea of a sure walk; and the idea of an exalted walk (walking in the high places of doctrine, of spiritual experience, of useful service and of expectations of future glory).
“ How to pray. ” The basis of our prayers must be the Word of God and the gifts of His covenant. We must not live on past experiences, but in a living and continuous communion with the Lord.
