Total dedication. There are many years from the time I heard such a challenging sermons as this. It makes you think how much of your heart you have given to the Lord and for what you are living. It is not information, but God spoke to me through this message.
Lost opportunity. Serious, sobering, frightening message about losing the last opportunity to come to Christ. A message that makes you to think how serious are the problems that face the eternity of a soul.
The sole life-giver. Christ depicted as the only life-giving, life-sustaining and soul-satisfying. Moses gave us not the Bread from heaven, Mohammed gave us not the Bread Of life, nor Buddha. Only Christ, the divine Messiah gives eternal life.
Free from sins! Extraordinary and glorious message that the believer in Christ have not to fear that his sins will condemn him at the last day. We must not fear the sin that hunt the unbeliever. I realize that a man who feel not the burden of his sin cannot rejoice in this message with the joy of the liberty of God's sons.
An observation: the text for the sermon is Psalm 49, not 149.
Great Sermon! I just want to Thank Mr. Cairns on all of his sermons, surely God has blessed him deeply. Also wanted to mention that many from Mich in the U.P also listen to him and find him to be very lightened. once again thank thank you. and God bless.
Great God. Great message about the pretension of Christ to be Jehovah. Pretensions to divinity, eternity, immutability and all-sufficiency. All these bring a great comfort to the believer.
Signs of God's presence and mighty working. A message about the signs of God's presence and mighty working in the church. Very good challenge for every church today to seek out if she has these things: the preaching of the Word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit, powerful answers to prayers, God's judgment on the enemies of His church.
Why study the Reformation. A message about to what helps us the study of reformation, followed by a simple and clear presentation of the Reformation, with special attention given to Luther.
A message from God. Very serious message! I like this man's preaching, because he comes to preach from the presence of God, with a message from God. I find in the sermons not only informations, not only good exegesis, not only a reading of commentaries, but the power of the Gospel. He speaks to the conscience, he speaks to the soul. It happened that I started to listen with a cold heart and God touched my heart, spoke me, awake me again. I am thanking God for speaking to me through this preacher!
Basing our worship and our service on God's Word. David's example here teaches us not to introduce strange and invented elements in our worship, but to remain dependent on the Word of God. All our life we have to do with these things.
How rich in Christ! I am thankful for being reminded how rich I was made in Christ. I realize that I live so poor spiritual life. I need God's grace to live what He has given me. I was so blessed by this message! I like the videos: it is, in a measure, like being in fellowship with the brothers in Greenville...
Trusting in God. Excellent message about trusting and God and prayer. I must confess that I find not in my heart the same thirst for the glory of God as I saw in Hezekiah. And I need his trust in God and the dependence in prayer. I thank God for this light brought upon my life.
Great salvation of God. I never thought that such a message can be taken out from a text like this! Excellent message about God's salvation! After listening to 100 sermons of pastor Alan Cairns, I observed that he quotes most of all Spurgeon, and after that, Ian Paisley.
Perfect Saviour. A message that reminded me of what the Saviour has done for my salvation, about His care for His own. A message about the relations of Christ - with His Father, with the disciples and with His enemies. It reminded me again the need to watch and pray.
