Patrick Hines 1 comment “ Interesting ” Unsure that Paul's 'anathema' to those preaching "another gospel" (Gal. 1:8) means eternal damnation or temporal. Historically, there has always been this controversy: eternal or temporal destruction/judgement. With the latter holding sway given the context of his preceding verses (Gal. 1: 6-7), suggesting that even the apostles were capable of distorting, and also given the context of Acts 23: 14.1 and Cor 16:22.
