If you believe yourself a small sinner...you will have a small view of repentance, a small view of Christ, a small view of salvation, and a small view of God. One of the greatest obstacles to finding the "great salvation" spoken of in scripture is man's unwillingness to see the largeness of his sin and the largeness of the sacrifice it took to atone for it. If in your eyes you needed to be forgiven only a little, then according to Christ you love Him but little...yet He has called you to love Him with everything that is in you. |
