“ Hard Hitting! ” This has got to be one of the most hard hitting sermons I have ever heard! What is holding us back from revival in our own churches, in our own lives? The need of all of us today is to put out all known sin in our lives, and to have God's power working in and through us. Not just some half-hearted effort, but truly seeking the Lord with all our hearts - then the Lord's hand is willing to work, then His ear is willing to hear our cries, in His name and according to His will.
“ Great Sermon! ” Very practical sermon useful for those times when you know something is not right but you're not sure exactly what's wrong. This is a good sermon to use as a spiritual compass.
“ Saved by grace ” I presumed my own salvation for 2 years of my life, and now i have just been saved. I thank God for Dr Alan Cairns and i pray for blessing upon him. Please listen to this sermon, make sure you haven't presumed you own salvation like i did. Although we have heard the Gospel many times- this sermon portrays the Gospel in a whole new light.
“ Great Sermon! ” This whole series from Ezekiel has been a wonderful feeding session of blessing to me from Gods word.
Clear historical teaching with spiritual insights from a truely gifted teacher. Many thanks.
“ Christ-centered Preaching! ” What a tremendous blessing this message was to my soul! Dr. Bauder once again shows the beauty of Christ in the Scripture and how the Scripture is absolute truth. I highly recommend this message for your edification.
“ Great Sermon! ” wow this is what i am going thrugh now
God is calling me in to minstory but i was called when i was 18 and i ran away and 1 year ago i came back to the lord and i been fighting battle after battle.
“ Great Sermon! ” "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way." (Ps 37 v 23)
Good to hear and watch Dr Paisley, that doughty and faithful old soldier, give this exposition of steps in Job. As he said, the first step for the lost sinner to make is to the cross.
“ Great Sermon! ” Dr. Cairns calls this the treasure of the Gospel and refers to the extent of the Gospel therein. All people are saved in exactly the same way. Before God the Saved are in a legal standing only because of the merits of Jesus. Question - Are you saved IN Jesus Christ.? As unprofitable servants we fall short of the praise of God and the glory of God. How do you judge yourself, is it in comparison to others.? How will God judge you today.?
A thought provoking message from Dr. Cairns.
“ Powerful Sermon! ” Dr. Cairns calls these verses a keynote passage and a vital part of Scripture, indeed the Gospel in a nutshell. His preaching here is aimed at the truly convicted sinner. Those who can perceive the righteousness of God apart from the Law, but can receive the Law of Faith.
You are not saved on account of your faith, but on the righteousness of the merits of Christ the Son. This message reaches the sinner. If you haven't yet perceived your wretched estate of sin, then, is your focus of faith truly on Christ Crucified.??
Surely a godly message.
“ Great Sermon! ” This sermon was a gret blessing to my wife and I! Great sermon for those graduating, or anyone about to face changes. Highly Recommended!
“ Thank You For This Exhortation ” Brother Cairns, I listen to some of your sermons every once in a while, and have always been blessed by them. This one: Wanted: Preachers With Passion, has been such a blessing, encouragement, and exhortation to me. Hard to put into words, but it sure kindles the fire.
Just wanted to say thanks from a Baptist preacher who was strengthened in his service through hearing your message, especially hearing your testimony of being afraid of people (sounds like me). But whom God calls He can make able if we rely on Him and spent time with Him in prayer and in His Word.
May the Lord continue to bless you.
“ Great Sermon! ” This is a great message by a choiest servant of the LORD. I have been in a wheelchair for over 35 years. Most of the time in constant pain. But when I heard this message it renewed my hope in a GOD who does all things right.
Greetings to our friends at Faith FPC in the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ. We were so happy to witness the dedication of the precious Habegger child this morning. We will be praying for you, Dyke, your wife and your little boy, Asher Eli (did we get the name right?). Also, we were blessed by your sermon, Dyke, on the subject of His power to accomplish all His holy will in those things which seem to be "impossible". Truly, with God, all things are possible! You have encouraged us so much! See you at the evening service.
