Great Sermon! "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way." (Ps 37 v 23)
Good to hear and watch Dr Paisley, that doughty and faithful old soldier, give this exposition of steps in Job. As he said, the first step for the lost sinner to make is to the cross.
Great Sermon! Dr. Cairns calls this the treasure of the Gospel and refers to the extent of the Gospel therein. All people are saved in exactly the same way. Before God the Saved are in a legal standing only because of the merits of Jesus. Question - Are you saved IN Jesus Christ.? As unprofitable servants we fall short of the praise of God and the glory of God. How do you judge yourself, is it in comparison to others.? How will God judge you today.?
A thought provoking message from Dr. Cairns.
Powerful Sermon! Dr. Cairns calls these verses a keynote passage and a vital part of Scripture, indeed the Gospel in a nutshell. His preaching here is aimed at the truly convicted sinner. Those who can perceive the righteousness of God apart from the Law, but can receive the Law of Faith.
You are not saved on account of your faith, but on the righteousness of the merits of Christ the Son. This message reaches the sinner. If you haven't yet perceived your wretched estate of sin, then, is your focus of faith truly on Christ Crucified.??
Surely a godly message.
Great Sermon! This sermon was a gret blessing to my wife and I! Great sermon for those graduating, or anyone about to face changes. Highly Recommended!
Thank You For This Exhortation Brother Cairns, I listen to some of your sermons every once in a while, and have always been blessed by them. This one: Wanted: Preachers With Passion, has been such a blessing, encouragement, and exhortation to me. Hard to put into words, but it sure kindles the fire.
Just wanted to say thanks from a Baptist preacher who was strengthened in his service through hearing your message, especially hearing your testimony of being afraid of people (sounds like me). But whom God calls He can make able if we rely on Him and spent time with Him in prayer and in His Word.
May the Lord continue to bless you.
Great Sermon! This is a great message by a choiest servant of the LORD. I have been in a wheelchair for over 35 years. Most of the time in constant pain. But when I heard this message it renewed my hope in a GOD who does all things right.
Greetings to our friends at Faith FPC in the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ. We were so happy to witness the dedication of the precious Habegger child this morning. We will be praying for you, Dyke, your wife and your little boy, Asher Eli (did we get the name right?). Also, we were blessed by your sermon, Dyke, on the subject of His power to accomplish all His holy will in those things which seem to be "impossible". Truly, with God, all things are possible! You have encouraged us so much! See you at the evening service.
Leviticus Series Audio PLEASE make the Leviticus audio available soon! I have been listening to the Ezekiel sermons, as I am teaching this in Sunday school right now. You make frequent references to the Leviticus study. I would love to hear them also.
Great Sermon! A briliant sermon which gave me a fresh and more deep insight into that popular verse 'I love him, because he first loved us. It is a sermon well worth listening to.
Praise the Lord! I tuned in last week just to see if I could catch anything at all, and I was thrilled to find the service being broadcast in audio only for us still in the dinosaur age of dialup! I wonder if it would be possible to post the sermons for these weeks while Dr Cairns is away also? I forgot this morning and tuned in late as I will have to get into the habit. What I heard was very good! and last week as well! I missed the ones the week previous. BLESS you all!
Great Sermon! I just want to Thank you for this message. Thank you for showing me that I also need a passion and a bigger burden for prayer. Thanks again for everything.

Absolutely Wonderful Sermon!!! This has to be one of the greatest messages on the Cross of Christ and it's justifying power that I have ever heard. This sermon was passionately delivered from one of the Lord's choicest preachers as only he could deliver it. I encourage all to obtain a copy and give it to as many sinners as will take it!
Great Sermon! My previous post was referring to the "Thanksgiving Praise Service" sermon given at BJU prior to the NYC church plant of NY Gospel Ministries...sorry for my mistake. W.
Great Sermon! What an encouragement and reminder of something too often neglected...that all believers who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ are directed by our Savior to proclaim the good news of the gospel! Wonderful testimony of God's grace in NYC through a mid-west outreach team and also the vision of a missions training center to be planted in NY, where the nations of the world are represented as students, visitors or residents.
