Brother Paul, Thank You so much for this sermon. Psalm 147 is a very encouraging psalm for God's people. It reminds us of His Power and Glory, of His Mercy and Goodness, of His dealings with His Elect. Praise the LORD!

Thank You Brother Paul for preaching God's Wonderful Truth - the law show us "the exceeding sinfulness of our sin" and the Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST shows us "For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift of the LORD JESUS CHRIST Who has REDEEMED ME BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB and WORTHY IS HE. Amen.

This message was a blessing to me, thank you brother. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but the unbelieving world is filled with confusion.

These great truths cause my heart to rejoice in our great God and Father and the LORD Jesus Christ. Wonderful worship grows from these truths, there is no true worship without it.

Thank You Thank You Thank You, Brother Paul - what a rich feast you have laid before us in this Word. I love hearing of Christ in the Old Testament - He is there. You have shown The Word - The Gospel and a Sinner Saved By Grace through Abraham, Sarah, & Issac. This was indeed a feast and makes me long for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Continue through God's Word to keep us longing for the One Who loved us and washed us from our sin in His Own Blood.

Thank you Brother Paul - Yes, we should rejoice for "Unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given..." I love Isaiah 9:2 "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." Glory to God in the Highest for He has sent His Son to save His elect from their sin. We will rejoice and not be silent.

Thank you Brother Paul for bringing to light our weaknesses of unbelief, as Abraham was, and then we revel in the Glory of Christ's Righteousness imputed to us, so God's sees not our sin ("cast into the depths of the sea, never to be remembered anymore")but He sees the Lord Jesus Christ's righteousness and His alone.

Excellent message, Brother Paul. Thank you for the richness of it. A comfort and warning for the Child of God and a warning for the "religious" who don self-righteousness as their covering and yet are still naked. Thanks be to God for His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who is our Righteousness.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Brother Paul - Thank You for this great message. Romans 7 - What child of God doesn't love Romans 7 & 8 - it describes us - without Christ (the law had dominion over us) - In Christ ("Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another--to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God." Romans 7:4) GRACE GRACE MARVELOUS GRACE. Thank You for "The several reasons why we will have a lifelong struggle with sin" - I typed all that out and printed it on one side and JC Philpot's "Strange Contradictions" quotes on the other - how well they go together. I thank God for SA - I miss sitting under Your preaching, Brother Paul, but at least I can hear from afar. The LORD Bless You and continue to give You rich fodder for His sheep.

I was reminded how I need God every moment. Apart from temptations and trials I would be self-sufficient. God is such a treasure and all we need. "Apart from me you can do nothing"-Jn 15:5

Brother Paul - I thank God that he has opened my blind eyes and loosed my tongue to proclaim that to Him be Glory alone. I was blind - thinking that one day when I stood before God I would proclaim my own righteousness and it would be sufficient. But my eyes have been opened to my total depravity and knowing that there is no good in me and knowing that God demands perfection, I have that perfection in the perfect Righteousness of Christ and Him alone - To Him alone be all Glory and Honor. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain. Thank you Brother Paul for lifting Jesus Christ high.
