On Friday, June 22, 2018, author and Bible teacher Dr. John Whitcomb turned 94 years old! What better way to celebrate than to revisit a classic message on “The Genesis Flood”—on this special edition of “Encounter God’s Truth”! Dr. Whitcomb is known as one of the founding fathers of the modern Biblical creationism movement. In 1961, he and co-author Dr. Henry Morris produced the classic book, “The Genesis Flood,” which has served as a textbook around the world now for more than 56 years. To honor Dr. Whitcomb on this birthday weekend, we have reached into our library to find a classic creation message in which he talks about “The Genesis Flood”: both the topic and the book, and also its late co-author, Dr. Morris, who was Dr. Whitcomb’s beloved friend for many years. The message was recorded at Grace Baptist Bible College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and we thank them for allowing us to bring it to you here. God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end. With host Wayne Shepherd we thank you for joining us to hear it again as we wish Dr. Whitcomb a very “Happy 94th Birthday”!
