Long before Cyrus was ever born, the King of Kings decreed his name and even decreed that he would conquer Babylon which was a city declared to have unbreachable walls. With walls more than 150 feet high and 32 feet thick, Babylon seemed secure enough that Belshazzar was having a party while Cyrus' forces laid outside the city. But the sovereign God had other plans.
